To mark the 30th Anniversary of the KLC school of design, Mark Humphrey has designed and commissioned an award symbolising new ideas and new talent entering the design industry.

The stunning sculptured award entitled Seed of Creativity is representative of a physical action frozen in time. Those nanoseconds when a seed bursts open, exploding with creative energy. The precious metals were handpicked by Mark on one of his many sourcing visits to Italy. The polished rock crystal and blue sodalite were chosen to reiterate the precious beauty and value of creativity.
Mark visited KLC to review graduates work. Whilst presenting the award he commented, ‘My award is for the best creative idea, a concept that could be developed and showed a spark of genius, a unique idea that is simple and easy to understand.’ The award was presented to Naomi Isaacs.
Addressing the audience at the graduation Mark emphasised that ‘creativity is our commodity’ and he encouraged all graduates to ‘Keep Loving Creativity’.
