SALICE will be exhibiting their range of furniture fittings at k + b design London, held at the ExCel, London between 7th – 9th March 2017.
Located on Stand F500, visitors can view a selection of innovative products from Salice, including Pacta, their new compact hinge system for flap doors allowing, with just one hinge, the opening and closing of doors. Pacta confers a decelerated opening and the falling of the door is soft and gradual. For total opening, the door and the base of the furniture are completely aligned, thus creating a uniform and regular surface. Though small dimensionally, Pacta guarantees load and stability and has several finishes and different applications: living rooms and kitchens, where the door can be used as a bar counter, in small bedrooms for children to create desks or changing tables, or in hotel rooms to create small writing desks.
Another example of Salice technology is their ultra-compact new lift-flap mechanism, Wind. Combining the highest levels of performance with smooth and controlled movement, Wind has strong functional appeal and only requires a cabinet depth of only 202mm, and can be used for doors from less than 1 kg to over 18kg in weight. In addition, Wind is available in soft-close and Push versions with covers in a range of attractive finishes to harmonise with all cabinet interiors.
Compact, stylish and elegant, Air is the new fusion of technology and aesthetics and marks a new era in the development of opening systems. An advanced and functional hinge, characterised by its slim line profile and high performance qualities, Air is fully adjustable in three directions and also incorporates an integrated soft close mechanism for decelerated closing or the Push self-opening system for handle-less doors. With a thickness of only 10mm, Air is inserted into the cabinet and the door and is practically invisible.
Eclipse by Salice is a pre-assembled Pocket Door System with cam-assisted sliding action that is enhanced by its linear damping system to gently control its final opening and closing movement. The system is easy to install and can be removed from cabinet with just 55mm spacing without the need to disturb adjacent cabinet, worktops and tiles.
Salice Coplanar Sliding Door Systems benefit from an unrivalled patented movement which ensures a smooth sliding motion and includes soft-opening and soft-closing door movements. Suitable for many different applications including exclusive bespoke bedroom wardrobe applications and elegant kitchen and bathroom designs.
Walter Gosling of Salice said, ‘We are delighted to be able to showcase a wide variety of our furniture systems at k + b design London. The audience will be looking for something special, and our products deliver state of the art design matched with superb performance”.
