The UK’s only dedicated water leisure exhibition, SPATEX 2022, is the show for designers, architects, specifiers, builders and developers.
Bursting with inspiration and information, it showcases the very latest products, trends and innovations in water features, spas, hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, swimming pools, enclosures and tiling.
Held at the Coventry Building Society Arena from 1 – 3 February, it is free to attend and offers the potential to meet over a thousand people from the water leisure industry in one day.
Expertise
SPATEX is a unique pool of free expertise for your projects – there’s no better place to seek advice from an expert, and all for free! Please come to the SPATEX Welcome Desk at the entrance to the hall if you need pointing in the right direction.
Centre of design excellence
Seeking inspiration and want to see the application of many of these products, then head over to the British Swimming Pool Federation (BSPF) stand. Each SPATEX, it hosts the presentation of the prestigious SPATA (The Swimming Pool and Allied Trades Association) and BISHTA (The British and Irish Spa and Hot Tub Association) Awards on the evening of Tuesday February 1st. You can view and discuss photos of all the award-winning projects on the BSPF stand on the Wednesday and Thursday of the show.
Energy-saving showcase
With over a hundred companies already signed up, including all the world’s major suppliers and manufacturers, every conceivable aspect of water leisure, for both the domestic and commercial sectors is covered. Saving energy is high on the exhibition’s agenda and you can expect to see lots of new products supporting a low energy, low carbon footprint. Following the pandemic, many of the exhibitors are making up for lost time and plan to feature two years’ worth of launches alongside those making their 2022 debut.
Free seminars
Not just an exhibition, SPATEX hosts a double programme of free seminars and workshops on all three days and features a diverse range of talented speakers. Promising to be of particular interest to designers and builders is the talk by Devin Consulting (experts in the design and engineering of water features) on Wednesday February 2nd in Arena 2 discussing the role they played in the construction of the world-famous London Sky Pool, completed in June. Spanning 17m across the rooftops of two high rise apartment buildings 35m in the air, this amazing all-acrylic, see-through structure is part of the Embassy Gardens development in Nine Elms, London for Ballymore EcoWorld, opposite the new American Embassy building.
