Appearance House is an innovative bathroom design that seamlessly merges natural materials with cutting-edge, futuristic elements. Designed by Mariana Basarab, this project is a celebration of aesthetic beauty and functionality, crafted to enhance the daily experience of its users while reflecting a sophisticated modern style.
The core concept of the design is a balance between nature and modernity, bringing together organic textures and sleek, forward-thinking design. The space is dominated by a large marble bathtub, a striking centrepiece that anchors the room’s luxurious atmosphere. Microcement flooring and walls, known for their durability and smooth aesthetic, complement the marble elements, contributing to a cohesive, contemporary feel.
One of the standout features of this project is the accent wall made from Gravity aluminium wave metal from Porcelanosa Group, which adds a dynamic, wave-like design to the space. This futuristic detail creates a striking contrast to the otherwise organic materials and introduces a unique visual element that catches the eye.
To further elevate the design, elements from Antonio Lupi have been integrated into the project, including the elegant sink and bathtub, which marry practicality with refined aesthetics. These high-end products help ensure that the space is as functional as it is visually captivating.
The lighting, curated from Vibia, is an essential part of the design, selected specifically to enhance the textures and materials while creating a serene and peaceful ambiance. Soft, diffused lighting enhances the marble surfaces and microcement walls, creating a luxurious yet calming environment.
