Decorex 2025 Delivers Spectacular Showcase of Interior Design Excellence and Creative Connection

Now in its 47th year, Decorex – the UK’s definitive event for luxury interior design – made a triumphant return to Olympia London from 12–15 October 2025.

This year’s edition welcomed over 12,500 design professionals and sparked over 55,000 design community connections, from 65 countries. Visitors explored an expanded show floor packed with design inspiration, innovation, and the latest trends from over 280 leading interior brands. Attendees discovered a vibrant showcase of new product collections and creative ideas, reaffirming Decorex’s status as the ultimate destination for design excellence.

This year’s vast range of premium exhibitors presented high-end craftsmanship, cutting-edge design trends, exclusive product launches and engaging live demonstrations. 2025 delivered an expanded show floor with more categories represented than ever before, including Outdoor furniture, Home Technology, Architectural Detailing and Decorative Accessories. There were exhibitors representing leading luxury interior design brands from sectors including Lighting, Fabric & Soft Furnishings, Furniture, Floor & Wall Coverings, as well as an exciting range of international exhibitors featuring brands from all over the world including a special focus on France and Portugal.

Decorex Event Director Sam Fisher commented: “With nearly half a century at the forefront of luxury interior design, Decorex isn’t just an event, it’s an institution. Its enduring legacy is a testament to the show’s ability to evolve, inspire, and connect the design community year after year. For almost 50 years, Decorex has set the standard for excellence, bringing together the brightest minds, the finest craftsmanship, the latest trends and the most innovative brands. Decorex’s longevity proves its enduring appeal and is here to stay as the UK’s ultimate destination for design professionals.”

Before the 2025 show closed its doors, brands including Armac Martin, Officine Gullo, Re:Claimed, Birdie Fortescue, Original BTC, V&A Interiors and Homeplay, had already rebooked for Decorex 2026.

New exhibitors to the show included cast iron radiator brand Castrads. CEO Nick Baylis, commented: “We’re thrilled to have taken part in our first Decorex. It’s been an incredible opportunity to showcase our radiators to a distinguished audience of interior designers, alongside other brands whom we admire greatly. On our stand, we aimed to create a cosy, inviting atmosphere, highlighting our work with Coat, Mylands, Imogen Heath and many others. Decorex has allowed us to connect directly with the design community and gain insight into how we can better support designers in the future. It’s been the perfect platform to celebrate our shared passion for beautiful interiors.”

Debuting at the show with their immersive Serengeti Living feature, was home technology brand Homeplay. James Ratcliffe, Managing Director, commented: “Exhibiting at Decorex for the first time has been an incredible experience for Homeplay. It’s given us an invaluable opportunity to connect directly with interior designers and demonstrate how technology can truly elevate and enhance their design visions. Being part of such a prestigious show has allowed us to showcase the seamless integration of technology into beautiful interiors and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. It’s been a collaborative experience working with partners like Hill House who designed the space along with Lutron, Control4, Sonance and John Cullen who have all helped make this multi-sensory immersive experience such a success.”

Dazzling Designer Collaborations

Celebrated decorative artist Natasha Mann was chosen as this year’s creative collaborator for Decorex. Her signature geometric patterns, adorned with floral motifs and elegant gilded accents could be seen across the show floor and as part of this year’s show campaign. Inspired by the iconic glass canopy roof of Olympia, the intricate and colourful designs beautifully reflected the building’s shapes and nature throughout the show floor.

This year, Tolù Adẹ̀kọ́ and team, Adẹ̀kọ́ & Co. unveiled the much-anticipated ‘Palomino’, the showstopping VIP Lounge at Decorex. Drawing inspiration from the iconic Paris Olympia Hippodrome of 1886 and Bertram Mills’ famed circus at Olympia Kensington, Palomino fused narrative artistry with striking, immersive design. Created in partnership with skilled artisans from around the world, the breathtaking space captured the elegance of history with modern creativity. Tolù explains: “It’s been wonderful to see how guests, designers, and industry peers responded to our interpretation of the VIP Lounge. Watching people experience the space exactly as we envisioned was incredibly rewarding. The level of quality achieved in such a short time is a true testament to the team’s dedication, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence. We’re deeply grateful to have been part of Decorex 2025.”

Taking centre stage on the show floor, Lucy Mayers of Sibyl Colefax & John Fowler presented the iconic Decorex Bar. Designed as a key destination for networking and socialising, the luxurious space paid homage to the company’s timeless elegance and renowned classic English appeal with an autumnal garden design featuring a silk tented canopy, central golden tree and nature inspired fabrics. Lucy commented; “We so enjoyed putting together the Main Bar at Decorex this year, the team worked very hard and now that it’s over it feels rather like a fever dream.  My favourite specific moment was also the most nerve -wracking, the unfurling of the enormous tent. I had great confidence in it, having seen and approved the scale model, but you still never know, however, the instant effect was exactly what I had hoped for. People have been most complimentary about our design and for me the real joy, aside from watching the imaginary take shape, was working with such a great group of people. Everyone was so positive and hard-working and kind, it made the whole experience a total joy.”

Located in its new central position in the National Hall, the Decorex Cafe and Bar, sponsored by Material Bank, provided visitors with an additional area to work and relax, whilst informing them of the global company’s sustainable platform for searching and sampling materials.

Making Spaces and The Next Chapter

In its fourth consecutive year, Making Spaces made an impressive return to Decorex. This year’s curated lineup of exceptional craftspeople and artisans showcased their skill and creativity from an eclectic mix of design skills, from weaving techniques and embroidery to hand printing and woodcraft, each bringing a unique voice to contemporary craft and design.

New for this year, in ‘The Next Chapter’, Decorex welcomed back a selection of Making Spaces alumni who have previously showcased their craftsmanship at the show. The returning talented artisans included Hanny Newton, Lara Pain, Pamela Print, Valerie Wartelle and The Marchmont Group.

Exclusive Making Spaces workshops also took place throughout the show for the opportunity for visitors to get hands on and try their hand at the wide range of skills and craftsmanship demonstrated by our talented Making Spaces artisans.

Inspiring Talks Programmes

Across the four-day programme, 40 sessions and over 100 expert speakers inspired, entertained and educated visitors throughout the Decorex Design Talks. Guest speakers this year included design writer Emilio Pimentel-Reid, design business coach Katy Stevenson Bretton and leading interior designers Nicola Harding, Sophie Paterson, Laura Hammett and Joanna Wood. In addition to the main seminar theatre, Decorex welcomed two brand new formats to this year’s event, Design Circles and Brand Perspectives. The Design Circles, provided visitors with more intimate and interactive conversations in roundtable-style sessions. This new format gave a unique opportunity to engage in focused dialogue, share insights, and explore ideas in a collaborative setting. The new Brand Perspectives were curated panel talks featuring exhibitors and special guests who discussed emerging trends, design challenges and innovative solutions.

Decorex Event Manager and Talks Programme Curator, Carly Barclay commented: “The Decorex Talks Programme continues to set the benchmark for industry insight and inspiration. With an exceptional number of expert guest speakers and sessions, this year’s programme offered an unparalleled platform for learning, debate, and creative exchange. The introduction of the new formats – Design Circles and Brand Perspectives – brought fresh opportunities for meaningful dialogue, while hands-on workshops empowered visitors to engage directly with the craft and innovation shaping the future of design.”

The Design Talks agenda can also be viewed from the 22 October on Decorex On-Demand, giving the design community a one-stop shop for all Design Talks recordings from this show and the past three events.

We were honoured to receive the Planet Conscious Award — a real highlight and meaningful recognition of the sustainable principles that guide everything we do. We’ve come away inspired, affirmed, and excited for what’s next.”
