Focus/12 is once again showcasing the latest seasonal trends during this years London Design Festival. Focus/12 is a hotspot of creativity in the heart of Chelsea, London. Throughout the show designers have the opportunity to discover world-class talent and get connect with industry peers and potential suppliers.
From Sunday 23rd to Wednesday 26th September, the Design Centre at Chelsea Harbour will open its doors to trade and public visitors (Trade – Sunday to Tuesday, followed by an open consumer day on Wednesday), putting on an exciting programme of collection launches, ‘meet the designer’ workshops, presentations, book signings and lively ‘in conversation’ sessions with the industry’s most valuable names.
Showcasing new ranges from over 500 international brands at 95 Design Centre showrooms as well as outside participants in Chelsea, Focus/12 offers exceptional quality and scope, from classic to cutting-edge contemporary.
Whether you are looking for ideas for a residential scheme or solutions for a commercial project, the latest design directions or to develop your knowledge of the season’s key fabrics, furniture, wall coverings and lighting trends, Focus/12 puts all this and more under one roof, allowing you to tap into potential future trend ideas.
Headline speakers this year include international architect and designer India Mahdavi in conversation with Lucia van der Post, well-known designer Kelly Hoppen in conversation with Giles Kime and California-based designer Kathryn Ireland talking about her relaxed approach to Susan Crewe. A professional practice seminar sees influential designers Dexter Moren and Rob Stuel discussing how London’s new hotels lead the way by design. For the inside track, join an expert panel of Chris Dezille, Bunny
Turner and Graham Harris in conversation with Dominic Bradbury as they reveal how they get best from their design teams. Take part in lively banter at a superyacht design summit or spend an afternoon learning about colour and pattern with Clarissa Hulse, Anna Murray and Rita Konig, followed by a special in conversation session with Kit Kemp and Suzanne Imrie.
