A new hotel concept on Park Lane

The Grosvenor House Apartments by Jumeirah Living, a new hotel concept on Park Lane, London, has opened.

Located in the iconic Lutyens building dating from the 1920s. Grosvenor House Apartments include four spacious and luxurious single strata penthouses on the top floor.  The refurbishment maintained the historic façade and was led by architects Woods Bagot. Anouska Hempel acted as a design consultant for the stylish interiors, which combines classic British design with dark oak timber flooring and more contemporary touches, including tailored wall panelling, oversized stone bathrooms, Dartington glassware and Royal Doulton china.

Most furniture on the project is bespoke designed by Anouska Hempel and Woods Bagot, including the sofas and dining room tables.

The pent house apartments include private lift access, their own separate state-of-the-art bespoke designed Poggenpohl kitchens, Carrera Marble bathrooms, glamorous dining and sitting rooms, study area, media room and stylish bedrooms and private balconies which enable residents to make the most of the impressive views over Park Lane and the rooftops of Mayfair.

The largest is the five bedroom penthouse, which spans almost 450 square metres (5,000 square feet) and includes a beautiful grand piano and elegant lifesize Cecil Beaton portraits.

Many of the remaining apartments overlook Hyde Park or Mayfair, whilst others have colonial-style shutters opening onto the new striking seven-storey vaulted Atrium.
