Maison et Objet, the major French trade show for interior designers, incorporating home fashion design, decoration and home trends, was held at the Parc des Expositions de Paris-Nord Villepinte, at the beginning of September and BIID members benefitted from complimentary Maison et Objet tickets to the event.
For next week, BIID members attending the London Design Festival can visit Focus/13 during 22-25 September at the Design Centre at Chelsea Harbour. Focus/13 offers 99 showrooms with over 500 international brands, which draws in an array of creative minds and provides a chance to develop knowledge of the season’s key fabrics, furniture, lighting, tiles and carpets. The show will feature a Tatler pop-up restaurant and will also offer a courtesy shuttle service running from Sloane Square to the Design Centre, as well as to Decorex International.
