SALICE have once again retained the prestigious FIRA Gold Certification quality mark for its hinges. FIRA Gold Certification is a quality mark awarded by FIRA International and backed by the Furniture Industry Research Association, experts in the furniture industry for 65 years. It signifies excellence in furniture products and services, and is the only accreditation scheme recognised by the furniture industry and audited by an independent third party. Originally brought in to meet demand from the furniture industry, the prestigious accolade is celebrating thirty years since its initial launch in 1984. Certification is awarded following stringent assessment of the products to ensure they fulfil all relevant industry standards. The accreditation means that the production processes used have passed a rigorous series of tests and on-going auditing to ensure that products are made to the highest standards each and every time. FIRA recently completed their FIRA Gold audit of Salice’s manufacturing facility at Novedrate, Italy and rated the entire operation as “Excellent”.
