Sat adjacent to the iconic St Paul’s Cathedral, is the grade II* Listed Chapter House built between 1712-1714 and designed by Christopher Wren and his son. Chapter House was originally designed as accommodation for the Dean however, during the 1950s it was refurbished into offices. To bring it up to modern standards it was recently revamped, a key requirement was improving the thermal retention throughout the building. Selectaglaze was specified as its secondary glazed units can reduce heat loss by up to 50 per cent. This can be achieved by bespoke fitting alongside the use of high performance seals. A number of slime line products were used to suit the various window styles, which are appropriate for heritage buildings, as they are an unobtrusive and reversible adaptation. Over 120 units have been installed in six different colour finishes to match the existing frames.
