SALICE returned from SICAM 2016, the International Exhibition of Components, Semi-finished Products and Accessories for the Furniture Industry, held in Pordenone, Italy, with plenty to smile about, as their products continued to gain interest. In addition to their award-winning Air hinge, Salice’s ultra-compact new lift-flap mechanism, Wind, was the centre of much attention. Requiring a cabinet depth of only 202mm, Wind can be used for doors from less than 1 kg to over 18kg in weight, is available in soft close and push versions with covers in a range of six colours. The ultra slim Lineabox drawer system was complemented by a range of colour-matched modular dividing compartments designed to organise drawer contents with style and elegance, a perfect match for the 9mm slim sides of the Lineabox drawer. Salice also showed their market leading Slider coplanar sliding systems and Eclipse pocket door system that are increasingly popular, combining aesthetic appeal to furniture designers and end-users, with ergonomic benefits and a reassuringly smooth sliding action.
