One of the UKs largest online flooring retailers, Factory Direct Flooring, has launched a new herringbone click range to complement its popular Aqua Plank collection.
The traditional Herringbone flooring look is now right on trend, with householders and the commercial market throughout the UK opting for the style to recreate the traditional look in their homes.
Six new designs were launched this autumn and already have proved popular with buyers wanting the herringbone style, but with the benefits of it being easy to fit, waterproof, durable and having low cost and maintenance qualities.
Factory Direct Floorings Aqua Plank Herringbone click vinyl also has been exclusively developed with its manufacturers to include built-in underlay.
Paul Hambidge, founder and Managing Director of Factory Direct Flooring said: Sales are already off to a strong start and we expect the products to be exceptionally popular as people start to prepare their homes throughout autumn and ready for Christmas.

Including the underlay within the design is a unique feature for this, and will mean those fitting it will be able to do so with less stress. We have also made sure how we have packed the product, there are the A and B planks needed in the same pack, which again makes it easier for fitting. Factory Direct Flooring previously revealed how LVT flooring had fast become one of the most popular types of flooring in the country for both commercial and residential homes due to its ease of use, fitting, and durability.
Throughout lockdown there was a boom in its popularity as householders decided they wanted to renovate their homes.
The unique locking system also gives the product a durability which allows it to be used in the home, and commercial settings, along with a much faster installation process.
The LVT flooring Aqua Plank collection now has 14 different designs and each plank is 100% waterproof, has micro bevelled edges and is suitable for use with underfloor heating. It also holds a 10 year commercial warranty and 20 year residential warranty guarantee.
It also has the wear layer classification AC5 – a class 33 heavy use which means it can be used within commercial properties.
Factory Direct Flooring has a retail store in Hinckley and warehouses in Nuneaton, and as a result of such growth over the past 18 months, has increased its storage size to 20,000 square foot to keep up with orders
The company, which has been running for over 32 years, has this year added its fourth unit to its Nuneaton site to adjust to such a high UK demand for its flooring products, especially for Aqua Plank Ultra range.
The growth has been attributed to developing new unique products, and moving its business to majority online sales.
