Tarkett: Colour & Tech Trailblazers at CDW

Tarkett’s London showroom, the Atelier, drew over 1,300 visitors during Clerkenwell Design Week (CDW), as the global flooring solutions provider showcased the transformative power of colour and the latest specification technology under the theme “Colour: From Palette to Purpose.”

The three-day design fest featured an action-packed programme exploring the interconnectedness between colour, sustainability, inclusivity, and design.

Tarkett launched two groundbreaking tech platforms during CDW. Firstly, the virtual reality Human Conscious Design Platform (HCDP) for designing more empathetic environments. This innovative tool allows designers to experience how an environment might look, sound, and feel to someone who is neurodivergent, helping them create truly inclusive spaces.

Additionally, visitors were also invited to explore an intuitive device for simplifying the design journey by searching colours, comparing materials, and creating shareable moodboards. As NCS Colour’s first partner, Tarkett is helping specifiers to create harmonising colour designs at the click of a button.

“We have made a commitment as a business to ‘human-conscious design’; that is to create environments that are good for people and for the planet. Clerkenwell Design Week was the perfect event to bring this to life,” said Mikael Persson, Head of Marketing for UK & Ireland at Tarkett.
