Tell us about your sink and tap portfolio and how it caters for current trends.
Mixing colours and materials is a big interior design trend and our portfolio is shaped around this. We offer finishes such as tactile Matt Black, as well as luxurious metallics like Copper and Gold that will add sophistication and modern elegance to contemporary kitchen, while also delivering exceptional durability and easy maintenance. All of our sinks are crafted from premium materials including Fragranite, stainless steel and ceramic and they offer designers an array of design choice which is perfectly complemented by an extensive design-led tap portfolio.
While delivering gorgeous designs and finishes, our tap range also focuses on versatility and functionality. Water Hub is a standout range, offering multiple water options in a single unit, addressing the trend for customisation and space-saving solutions. We also offer spray, filter and sensor taps, which align with the increasing emphasis on health, hygiene, convenience and energy efficiency.

How is Franke meeting the demand for instant boiling water taps?
Drawing on decades of experience, our award-winning Mythos Water Hub model is a game changer in the multifunctional tap market, delivering six water options—from filtered instant boiling to sparkling water—all in one unit. Using the Franke @Home app, users can customise settings like boiling temperature and carbonation levels. It’s an eco-friendly, intuitive tap that reduces reliance on kettles and plastic bottles. For interior designers, it offers a sleek, multifunctional solution that elevates premium kitchen spaces.
Metallics are trending in kitchen design – what’s your take?
Our Mythos Masterpiece collection embraces the metallic trend with sinks, taps, and soon-to-be-launched hobs and cooker hoods in Gold, Copper and Anthracite. Our sinks feature our exclusive F-Inox Technology which delivers luxurious looks and exceptional durability. The advanced coating keeps them resistant to stains, scratches and fingerprints, and water drains away effortlessly, maintaining a pristine, easy to clean finish. It’s a collection for high end projects with discerning clients.
Why did Franke expand into the appliance market?
In 2023, Franke expanded its portfolio to include premium appliances, such as ovens, hobs, coffee machines and wine coolers, providing a complete kitchen solution along with our sinks and taps. It enables designers to access the hallmark quality of the Franke brand and create a design-cohesive and functional kitchen experience for their clients – it’s been very well received.
A standout in our range is the Mythos Black Line range because it caters to the trends for dark and luxurious interiors. Appliances boast minimalist design in black glass and deliver a striking aesthetic while maintaining exceptional performance. A gallery installation of all the appliances at ergonomic eye level delivers a lot of design cachet.
How do you approach sustainability in your product development?
Sustainability is a core principle at Franke. We prioritise using eco-friendly materials and designing products with longevity in mind, reducing the need for replacements and minimising waste. Our stainless steel sinks, for example, are crafted with up to 70% recycled content and are fully recyclable at the end of their life cycle. We also focus on water and energy conservation—many of our taps feature eco-friendly cartridges that reduce water flow by up to 50%, while some cooker hoods are equipped with K-LINK Technology, activating only when there’s activity on the hob. Additionally, our food waste disposers help reduce kitchen waste, encouraging a more sustainable lifestyle.
How is Franke helping designers create kitchens that promote wellbeing?
Air quality has become a key focus for us in wellbeing-led kitchen design. As demand for healthier indoor environments grows, we’ve developed products to meet these needs. Our Mythos Air Hub cooker hoods not only eliminate cooking odours but also feature advanced air purification technology that removes up to 99.99% of bacteria and viruses. In addition, our AQ Sense hoods monitor and filter harmful VOCs, ensuring a cleaner and healthier kitchen atmosphere. These innovations make it easier for designers to incorporate air quality solutions, contributing to a more comfortable and health-conscious kitchen environment.
