JUST EAT was founded in Denmark in 2001 and now operates in 13 countries around the globe.  It launched in the UK in 2006 and is now the country’s leading online takeaway ordering service, offering over 5m hungry customers access to more than 18,000 takeaway restaurants.  Its new, 22,000 sq ft premises in Fleet Place houses its group services team – legal, technology and product development, as well as its Executive Team.

The office solution followed staff interviews, workshops and site visits, culminating in a workplace strategy and design brief.  The largely open plan space encourages collaboration, communication and camaraderie amongst staff.  A number of different, agile working solutions accommodate informal meeting areas, hubs, touchdown spaces and conventional meeting rooms. In addition, a large staff breakout and ‘Pause’ area has been created for staff to mingle during their breaks.

Warren Margolis, Director at Margolis Office Environments, said: “JUST EAT’s new office space reflects the firm – professional yet fresh and young.  The use of vibrant graphics, images and designs produced by JUST EAT internally reflect the buzzy nature of the business.”

The scheme was delivered in eight weeks.
