Interpretation of design and attention to detail is something Deanswood Interiors applies to every project they have been involved over four decades of the company’s existence. The directors of Deanswood Interiors, David and Keith Porter, continue to run Deanswood interiors as a business founded on an emphasis of quality, craft and technique, as their father, now retired, did before them.
The company and all its employees have recently moved to a new factory, which is now wholly owned by Deanswood. This move into larger premises has given the David and Keith the chance to revisit the DiDii quality control system, a system designed five years ago, which aims to improve the in-house computerised quality control, to further their own technological capabilities and improve overall service to designer customers. DiDii has been updated and now goes by the name ‘Deanswood Interiors – Delivery on time’ or DI-dot.
The system continues to allow Deanswood the opportunity to offer their clients certain guarantees for delivery and installation. Deanswood gives the DI-dot guarantee on all projects. Deanswood Interiors are able to give these guarantees because they ensure quality and on-time installation, a fantastic Deanswood experience, professional curtain makers with closely controlled apprentices and quality assured suppliers. Deanswood believes that although they are last on site, they are first in service.
